Are these 3 negative habits getting in your way?
Life is full of choices that have to be made, and as people grow accustomed to a set of routines, some actions end up becoming habits. There are positive habits that can be very constructive such as making sure to turn off lights when you leave a room, but there are other habitual behaviors that can negatively impact your daily and even future life. Do you recognize any of these behaviors in yourself?
1. You say 'yes' to everything
Most people want to avoid conflict or be liked, but there comes a point where it is actually irresponsible to allow yourself to become overwhelmed by the requests and demands of others.
It takes time in life to accomplish goals, and it will become impossible for you to achieve your dreams if you’re spending an unlimited amount of time helping other people reach theirs.
Learn to establish healthy boundaries and to prioritize your time and commitments.
2. You live only for today
It has been said that "People often overestimate what they can do in a day and underestimate what they can do in a year". We often fail to realize that every day counts and that our daily actions really do matter.
Let's say you have a financial goal of starting a $1000 emergency fund. Yet, every week for work you buy breakfast and lunch Monday- Friday. Those daily purchases add up. If you were to save that money and make breakfast at home and carry lunch to work , you would reach your savings goal much faster.
When you think of life only in the short term, it limits your ability to grow and expand as well as achieve your goals.

3. You don't believe in yourself
Many people have a terrible habit of selling themselves short. For example, millions of people stay in jobs that don’t serve them well. They may be killing themselves every day to make a barely livable wage, or working in jobs that suck the life out of them day after day.
Either way, they are unhappy, but don’t feel as though they are capable of achieving much more. Often this is due to low self esteem, fear of change and fear of what other people will think.
A person may struggle to pay their bills but say, “I don't know how to do anything else" or "There's just no good jobs anymore". Excuses will never bring you satisfaction or any closer to your goals. To truly step into your potential you have to be willing to put yourself out there and try new things.
